Crockpot Green Beans

A simple and delicious recipe for green beans cooked in a crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 2pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1onion, diced
  • 4cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cupvegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoonsolive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the green beans.
  2. Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
  3. Place the green beans, onion, and garlic in the crockpot.
  4. Add the vegetable broth and olive oil.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Notes

Fresh green beans work best for this recipe.
You can add bacon for extra flavor.
Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
