Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast

Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast is a tender and flavorful beef dish cooked slowly with seasoning and pepperoncini.

Ingredients

  • 3to4pounds chuck roast
  • 1packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1packet au jus gravy mix
  • 8to10pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cupunsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Add the pepperoncini peppers on top.
  4. Cut the butter into pieces and place it on top of the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  6. Shred the meat and serve with the juices.

Notes

You can serve the pot roast over rice or mashed potatoes.
Adjust the number of pepperoncini to your spice preference.
