crockpot stew

A hearty and flavorful crockpot stew perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2lbs beef stew meat, cubed
  • 4 cupsbeef broth
  • 3carrots, sliced
  • 3potatoes, diced
  • 1onion, chopped
  • 3cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tspsalt
  • 1 tspblack pepper
  • 1 tspthyme
  • 1bay leaf

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping vegetables and cubing the meat.
  2. Place the beef stew meat in the crockpot.
  3. Add the broth, carrots, potatoes, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaf.
  4. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  6. Remove bay leaf before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, brown the meat before adding to the crockpot.
You can add other vegetables like peas or corn if desired.
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
