Crockpot Taco Chicken is a simple dish made with chicken breasts and taco seasoning, cooked slowly for tender results.

Ingredients

  • 2pounds chicken breasts
  • 1packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cupsalsa
  • 1can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cupcorn, frozen or canned
  • 1 cupshredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the chicken.
  3. Add the salsa, black beans, and corn to the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks before serving.
  6. Top with shredded cheese and let it melt before serving.

Notes

Serve with tortillas or over rice.
Adjust the spice level by adding jalapeños.
This dish can be frozen for later use.
