1 teaspooninstant yeast
1 1/2 tablespoonssugar
2 tablespoonshot water
1/3 cupwarm milk
1/4 teaspoonsalt
2 tablespoonsoil
1 1/2 cupsaFll-purpose flour (adjust as needed)
For the Cinnamon Crumb Topping:
1 cupall-purpose flour
1/3 cupbrown sugar
1/4 cupgranulated sugar
1 teaspoonground cinnamon
1/4 cupbutter, softened
For the Icing:
3/4 cuppowdered sugar
1/2 teaspoonvanilla extract
1 tablespoonmilk (adjust as needed)
Instructions
Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine yeast, sugar, hot water, and warm milk. Stir until the yeast dissolves. Add salt and oil, then mix in 1 cup of flour. Gradually add more flour as needed until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for a few minutes, then place it back in the bowl. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Roll or press the dough into a 12-inch circle on a lightly greased baking sheet or pizza pan.
Make the Cinnamon Crumb Topping: In a small bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the dough.
Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
Prepare the Icing: Whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Adjust the milk for desired consistency.
Drizzle the icing over the warm dessert pizza. For an easy drizzle, place the icing in a small plastic bag, snip the corner, and squeeze over the top.
