  1. Activate the Yeast:
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yeast, sugar, and warm water. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Mix Herbs and Spices:
  4. Add salt, rosemary, basil, oregano, and minced garlic to the mixture.
  5. Form the Dough:
  6. Gradually mix in 2 cups of flour and the parmesan cheese, stirring until the dough begins to come together. Add the remaining ½ cup of flour as needed until the dough becomes soft, smooth, and slightly tacky.
  7. First Rise:

  11. Shape the Loaves:

  13. Add a Buttery Finish:
  14. Place a small pat of butter (about ½ tbsp) on top of each loaf.
  15. Bake:
  16. Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes, or until the loaves are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  17. Cool and Serve:
  18. Remove the bread from the oven and transfer it to a wire rack to cool. Slice and enjoy!
