  • 1 cupdesiccated coconut (unsweetened)
  • 1 cupunsalted peanuts (or preferred nuts)
  • 1 cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1can (14 oz or395g) sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (160°C for fan-assisted ovens).
  2. Prepare an 8-inch square pan by lightly spraying it with oil and lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Place the butter in the pan and melt it in the oven for about 5 minutes.
  4. Once melted, swirl the butter around to cover the base, then sprinkle the crushed biscuits evenly on top. Gently press the biscuits down.
  5. Layer the desiccated coconut over the biscuit base. Then scatter 2/3 of the peanuts and chocolate chips on top, reserving some for the final layer.
  6. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the layers, spreading it evenly. Finish by sprinkling the remaining peanuts and chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
