Sausage Gravy Breakfast Casserole

A hearty and comforting breakfast casserole featuring sausage and gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1pound breakfast sausage
  • 1can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 6eggs
  • 1package (16 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and eggs.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the cooked sausage over the dough.
  6. Pour the soup mixture over the sausage.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden brown.

Notes

Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
