Sausage Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole

A hearty breakfast casserole featuring sausage and tater tots.

Ingredients

  • 1pound breakfast sausage
  • 1bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 6large eggs
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 1 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the tater tots in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Layer the cooked sausage over the tater tots.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and tater tots.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set.

Notes

Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
Great for brunch or a family breakfast.
