Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Delicious soft chocolate chip cookies that are easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupunsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cupgranulated sugar
  • 3/4 cupbrown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  • 2large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cupsall-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoonbaking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 2 cupschocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers are soft.
  9. Let cool on a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container.
You can use different types of chocolate chips.
Chill the dough for a firmer cookie.
