Tatertots Casserole Breakfast

A hearty breakfast casserole featuring crispy tater tots, eggs, sausage, and cheese.

  • 1bag frozen tater tots (32 oz)
  • 1lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 6large eggs
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 2 cupsshredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper
  • 1/2 tspgarlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. In a greased baking dish, spread half of the tater tots evenly.
  5. Add the cooked sausage over the tater tots.
  6. Pour the egg mixture on top of the sausage.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining tater tots over the egg mixture.
  8. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  9. Bake for 45 minutes or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.

Notes

Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
You can substitute sausage with bacon or ham.
Add vegetables like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
