- 1lb breakfast sausage
- 6large eggs
- 2 cupsmilk
- 1 tspsalt
- 1/2 tsppepper
- 1 cupshredded cheese
- 4 cupscubed bread
- 1/2 cupdiced bell peppers
- 1/2 cupdiced onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked sausage, cheese, bread, bell peppers, and onions to the egg mixture.
- Mix well and pour into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole can be made the night before and stored in the refrigerator.
Feel free to customize with your favorite vegetables or meats.
Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave.
