French Onion Chicken Crockpot
A simple and delicious French Onion Chicken made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 4boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cupsFrench onion soup
- 1 cupshredded Swiss cheese
- 1medium onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoonolive oil
- 1 teaspoongarlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear chicken breasts on both sides until browned.
- Place sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add seared chicken on top of the onions.
- Pour French onion soup over the chicken.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
- 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle Swiss cheese on top and let it melt.
Notes
Serve with crusty bread or over rice.
Can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts.
Adjust seasoning to your preference.
