- 1.5pounds boneless chicken breasts
- 4 cupschicken broth
- 1 cupcarrots, sliced
- 1 cupcelery, chopped
- 1 cuponion, diced
- 1 teaspoongarlic powder
- 1 teaspoondried thyme
- 1 teaspoonsalt
- 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper
- 1can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cupfrozen peas
- 1can (biscuits) refrigerated dumplings
Instructions
- Place chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
- Add cream of chicken soup and frozen peas to the mixture.
- Cut the dumplings into quarters and add them to the crockpot.
- Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
Notes
Adjust seasoning to taste.
Use rotisserie chicken for quicker preparation.
