A simple and delicious recipe for cooking turkey in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1whole turkey (12–14lbs)
- 2 cupschicken broth
- 1onion, chopped
- 4cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoonssalt
- 1 teaspoonblack pepper
- 1 tablespoondried thyme
- 1 tablespoondried rosemary
- 1 tablespoonolive oil
Instructions
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Place the chopped onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour chicken broth over the onions and garlic.
- Place the turkey on top of the mixture in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the turkey is cooked through.
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
Notes
Adjust cooking time based on the size of the turkey.
Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (165°F).
Leftover turkey can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
